Is there some way to recommend an extension that's available in the Chrome Web Store but not available for Firefox? It's the only one I've found anywhere that does this, particular job.

Beanote will allow a sticky note to be made *anywhere* on a web page -- not in a sidebar -- and it will stay right where you want it. Or you can move it. Also, if there are tabs within a portion of that webpage, it will bleed through transparently to all of them. If you want to add it to another of these tabs, you just click on it and you can move it anywhere you'd like; again, it will stay there.

Hi, you could ask its developer to build this extension for Firefox and send it to AMO store. Code is almost the same, so it shouldn't be much work for him.

PS. This one could be similar: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/annotating-the-web/

Thank you, TyDranlu.

How do I contact Firefox's developer?

The add-on you showed me isn't similar. I'm looking for the ability to post notes in areas not text-related. For instance, I play correspondence chess on the web and want to be able to place a note where I'll notice it and actually look at it; unfortunately, I totally forget to go off the page to check before making my next move. I can see how it would also be helpful when having thoughts about what's written, such as writing a thought about or a question based upon five paragraphs.

I meant the chrome addon developer. His e-mail you can find in chrome addon store.

Thank you, TyDraniu; but it's already in the Chrome store. However, it won't upload to Firefox. :(

You can ask him to build a version for Firefox :(
