For several months now, the Google Toolbar will not allow me to use the autofill function. I have tried on all different types of forms and even on simple HTML forms, the autofill does not work.

  1. Google stopped supporting their Google Toolbar add-on as of Firefox 5.0. Overriding the maxVersion of that extension doesn't actually fix it, that only allows it to be enabled.
  1. Autofill and Page Rank are two features that are known not to function correctly with a "bumped" Google Toolbar extension in Firefox 5+ versions.

Take a look for at the available Autofill extensions for a suitable replacement.
