Is there any feature comparable to Safari's "Autofill" - that is, can I automatically fill in all name and address fields on a web page?

I am a Safari user who has been trying Firefox. So far I think it's great - but I'm really missing this one Safari feature.

I do a lot of online shopping, and I'm used to letting Safari "AutoFill" my name, email and address fields with one click of an icon. If there is nothing similar in Firefox, then I guess I'll just stick with Safari for now.

cor-el - Thanks for your helpful reply.

I had already explored Firefox's "Autocomplete" feature and decided it was not even close to being a substitute for Safari's one-click AutoFill function.

The Autofill Forms third-party add-on looks like it might be comparable, although I can easily imagine problems when Firefox updates are no longer compatible with the 3rd party software.

I was going to give Autofill Forms a try, but the pop-up warnings about not installing add ons from "unknown authors" scared me off. Sticking with Safari, for now - maybe some day AutoFill will be a built-in FireFox feature.

Extensions would need to be signed with a certificate to avoid showing an "Unknown author" and there aren't many extensions that are signed.
Adblock Plus and NoScript are examples of extensions that are signed.

... umm, if you're trying to tell me something, I'm not getting it. I don't see how knowing that Adblock Plus and NoScript have signed certificates makes Autofill Forms any more trustworthy.

Anyway, based on the apparent source of the download, I assumed the add-on is trustworthy and installed it. While trying to set up the preferences, I discovered the interface to be seriously flawed to the point that it was not useable, so I un-installed it and went back to Safari (AutoFill Forms v.0.9.8.1 with Firefox v.3.6.22 on OS 10.4.11).

Thanks for trying, though!

I mentioned those two extensions as an example that wouldn't show an untrusted message on installing.
Of course it won't help with the AutoFill extension.
