I recently had to perform a system restore on my Laptop to resolve an issue (on recommendation from ASUS Support).

On reinstalling firefox, I began to notice that video (Youtube, Animated GIF's, etc) would lag when I would scroll my mouse down to the Windows 11 Taskbar and it would show the preview windows.

Firefox is the only application that is having this issue, and Troubleshoot Mode seems to not have the problem. However, when not in troubleshoot mode, even with all Add-On's and Themes disabled, the issue occurs.

I have tried changing Add-Ons to ones with rated performance, restarting my Laptop, ensuring all Drivers, Applications are updated, Refreshing Firefox, uninstalling & reinstalling firefox, reducing the number of open tabs and windows. I also ran sfc /scannow and DISM in case the issue was with the taskbar, with nothing being reported. Nothing appears to have worked.

Any assistance would be appreciated, as I love using Firefox and have not had any issues with it up until now.

I may have found a fix, by forcing Firefox to use the NVIDIA GPU instead of the AMD Integrated Graphics, it looks like this may have fixed the lag issue. I'll keep testing to make sure.
