I am running Thunderbird 52.9.1 (32-bit) on a WIN XP SP3 computer and Thunderbird 86.0b3 (32-bit) on a WIN 10 machine. Both computers use the same keyboard & monitor via a KVM switch. When logging in on the older WIN XP computer the login popup automatically progresses to the next email account for login when the current one is successful. I have 3 active email accounts loaded the exact same way in TB in both machines. When logging in on the Win 10 machine the TB login window will not automatically progress to the next email account so that I can log in. I have to manually move the mouse cursor to the next account. I have the same 3 email accounts loaded in the WIN 10 version as I do on the WIN XP SP3 machine. Is there any kind of hidden command that I can set/reset to have Version 86.0b3 (32-bit) automatically progress through all three email logins like it does in the much older 52.9.1 (32-bit) version? Or does this need to go in as a suggestion for future versions of TB?

Newer versions of Thunderbird spawn multiple threads to log into multiple accounts basically as the same time. So it is not a progression on a single action any longer.

Sir: Your reply is not what happens! I do not use a master password for op-sec reasons. Old military habits die hard when it comes to security.

In the Thunderbird 52.9.1 (32-bit) version when the program is opened a login popup opens on the last email account that I was accessing when the program was closed down. When the password is typed in and the "enter" button is pressed the program opens that email account and then progresses to the next account where the login popup appears automatically awaiting the password. This process repeats through all three accounts.

When the password is typed in and the "enter" button is pressed the program opens that account and that account only! It does not automatically progress to the next account! To open the next account I have to move the mouse cursor to the next account and click on the Inbox. Then the login popup opens. Rinse and repeat through this second account and then the same again with the third account.

The aforescribed functionality in the 52.9.1 (32-bit) version has definitely been taken out of the 86.0b3 (32-bit) version. I have closely checked each and every one of the functions in the drop down menus and there is nothing that turns on/off this type of functionality. This is something that the programmers need to take a serious look at returning to future versions of TBird.
