Hi,

Our organization has issued Chrome Books as end points for all employees. We are getting pop-up while trying to download something. Instead we want to configure it in a way to auto-download files and open them once download completes. The article available in internet are for Windows OS but not far for Chrome OS.

Options in Chrome OS firefox seems to be limited when compared with Firefox for Windows. In Windows version of firefox, we are able to auto- download and auto-open files but not in Chrome Os. Can anyone help us ?

Regards Bala

Hi Bala

Having you installed Firefox for Android on these devices? That is not really meant for Chrome OS devices and you will not have an optimum experiance.

If these devices you are using have a recent version of Chrome OS, you will be able to find instructions online that will enable you to install a full Linux version of Firefox (desktop) on those devices that I think that your users will find much better to work with.
