If I select more than one email and then delete them, or any other function with multiple emails, I am no longer able to see the email body when I select a single email. Additionally, before I select the multiples I cannot look at headers or even see who it is from on the individual email. I am using Thunderbird 52.8 and Windows 7 Home. This has been an issue for the last year but have been unable to address it. I have uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled Thunderbird. I have reset columns, repaired mailboxes, and compressed mailboxes. As long as I only work with one email at a time it doesn't break. Any help would be appreciated.

Chosen solution

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.
