Hello,

I use Firefox a lot at office and have to print from many websites. According to content I use different page settings like scaling, margin or the showing of head/footer information. So I will have to adjust these settings every time manually.

It would be great if I could save the page settings to a print-profile (not user profile) and select it via drop down in the page setup window. An additional option to link a profile to a website (domain) would be even more comfortable and automatically select the right profile when printing from these sites.

What do you think about this? Kind regards Gandlz

Quite honestly, that sounds like a feature that belongs in an extension, not a standard feature built into Firefox. My fear is that if the Mozilla developers attempt to add a feature like that, they'll screw it up and in the process break something else.

Well, is there any plug-in providing such a feature? I am not a programmer but as far as I understand there must be stored and restored a view values from the about:config. That should not be a big deal. Is there any “general” plug-in which let me choose a few entries and their values from about:config and restore them with a button or some simple dialogue?

Thanks
