The version number relates to the Firefox software. Please look at
- Firefox for iOS Add Firefox to your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. mozilla.org/firefox/ios
Firefox for the iOS is currently at version 3.0. It was not referring to iOS 3.0.

I suppose "Firefox 3.0 for iOS is here" could make it more clear.
Thanks care2achieve. :) I reported your question to the team that handles those snippets, and they say they've removed it, and will avoid including version numbers in the future.
It was not the version number that was issue but how the wording was done.
However a line like "Firefox for iOS is here!" would keep it simple.
