Windows 7 and Firefox have issues with Adope Flash... Flash continuously eats up processor resources and increases the processor chip temperature.. Also, there is a related memory leakage issue...

To address this issue, Ms said upgrade drivers and Firefox said install "Flash Block", which allows you to turn on any windows / frames using Flash as needed. Since Flash is mostly used for anoying advertising and pop ups, it seemed the correct course of action.

However, the first call I made using Skype thereafter, the person recieiving the call said they could not hear me... Same result with calls to other numbers.

Is Flash an integral component of Skype? And if so, what is the fix? as no manual offer to turn on the Flash for Skype. I tried white listing Skyp in FlashBlock with out good result..

Please advise.

Load the web page. After the page is loaded, click the down arrow next to the FlashBlock icon. Now select Allow Flash.

FredMcD - Skype has kind of a hybrid Application window that boots from the hard drive. The flashblock button never appers. However, the called party not being able to hear issue began right after I installed FlashBlock. Yet I can hear the the called person on my end.
