since importing bookmarks from old PC firefox does not function corrctly. re-installing has not corrected error

Since importing my bookmarks from an old PC firefox 37.0.2 does not function correctly. When I go to google maps the page is blank. buttons on webpages do not work. on the BBC website firefox keeps trying to send me to the mobile website I uninstalled firefox then re-installed, but this did not clear my bookmarks & the issues remained.
