How can I copy contact entries from the "Personal Address Book" to a subsidiary list without typing 500 individual entries?

There is about to be a death in the family. I need to establish a mailing list of all immediate family members, but it should not contain *EVERY* entry in either my Personal Address Book or my Collected Addresses. Is there something like a drag-and-drop or copy-and-paste facility to accomplish this task?
