After the latest update to the program I noticed that a previous folder is missing along with its saved emails. That folder still exists along with saved messages on the ISP server. This has happened previously and then re-appeared some months later, perhaps with an application update. The rest of my folders display properly along with their saved emails.

Prelude:

1. I have several email addresses in Thunderbird.

ISSUE:

1. One address, the first on the list, Draft folder shows "1"
2. View email Shows "No message found"

QUESTION: I like to keep a tidy Thunderbird - how might I fix this issue?

i used to have several folders, all mail, sent mail, drafts etc as subfolders under [gmail] but they have disappeared in my acwentz5@gmail.com account. i have another separate account acwentz@gmail.com and those folders are still there. also, on my iphone, both accounts have those folders. so, where are those folders on my desktop acwentz5@gmail.com account???

Each time I open TBird, I get a message at the bottom left of the screen telling me that TBird has deleted X number of messages. I do not want TBird to ever delete any messages. How do I turn this automatic delete function off?

I changed Google accounts from mine to my husband's so that I could find a certain email. Finished and signed back into my Google account. Shut everything and went to my Thunderbird. My entire inbox of emails for my gmail account were not there. Why would I lost those if I was not dealing with Thunderbird, but Google online?? Google online only shows those emails that I haven't downloaded to Thunderbird. Google online did not show my current gmail Thunderbird Inbox, yet it's gone from Thunderbird. I'm sick about it... prescious emails lost. Is there any way to retrieve my Inbox?

After I migrated everything to a different computer, 'Local folders' no longer appears in the side bar, so I cannot archive messages locally.

Can some kind person please help me to reinstate it?

Windooze 11. TBird 152.0 installed on June 20th. Now it seems like TBird is not displaying HTML emails properly. They are displayed but not at the beginning. The first line is sometimes just the bottom half of a sentence in the email (if that makes sense). I can't scroll back to the beginning. If I go to outlook and display the same email it displays fine.

Did something change in 152.0 to cause this?

Does Thunderbird have disc storage space limit and if so how do I know what my limit is and how much is used? When I just sent an email, a popup said it could not be saved to the local sent folder because maybe I reached my storage limit. But I cannot find anywhere that shows me what my storage limit is or how much I have used. I appreciate any help you can offer, Thank you.

I have a brand new windows desktop. i installed thunderbird 153.0. setup email account. can send and received emails ok. cannot get imap folders. have tried everything. i can see the imap folders on other devices, my iphone and also on another windows laptop. cannot find any folders. i installed google chrome first. is it possible that it has blocked folder display on my email.

I have a consistent issue where moving a folder with its emails to a subfolder makes it so I can't see the contents of the emails. It also causes the same thing on all other folders.

Repairing folders doesn't seem to fix it. Closing then restarting TBird fixes it. Is there some other way to do this?

For the second time today, I lost the entire body of a rather detailed email I was composing for two different glitches. When I started to reconstruct the first I was hitting cntl-S frequently. I relaxed a little for the second and was about to save, but I got a message about the attachment from my drive that I was forwarding, and the entire body was again lost.

From the posts I've read, it appears I'm not alone. Unclear what triggers the saving of a draft, but is there a way to increase the frequency? Between the two I lost today, I wasted over an hour and lost some of the original thinking.

I searched the setting help, but didn't find anything.

Within the past day or so, which means 7-18-26 or later, some of my email messages on thunderbird for my pc have a "From" description that is not correct. I look at the messages, and the "From" is entirely different than the "From" description when looking at the email message list. I have never encountered this problem before. I'm using thunderbird 152.0.1 64-bit on my pc.

I've asked this question before, but have gotten no response. Maybe I'm not explaining it clearly enough. I will try again. When I name a new file folder, how do I get it in the correct alphabetical order? I end up making it a subfolder in under another incorrect folder or it does not get in correct alphabetical order. I hope this is clearer to understand. I just don't know how to make it any plainer. Thank you for your kind response.

When I was cleaning up my folders in inbox, I moved a folder and all of the emails and sub folders disappeared. When I open it in troubleshooting mode they are there. What should I do?

I'm new to Thunderbird so can you explain what is the status of a Local Folder, please. Does it count against the email allowance? and How can I move emails from a Local Folder back to the main folders, please?

I wish the subject line in an email would be editable ala Office Outlook. I make frequent online orders and the acknowledgment emails often simply have a subject line such as, 'Thanks for your Order' 'Order delivered' 'We got your Order'. That tells me very little. If I could add something like, 'Best Buy - backup ups battery', 'eBay - head phones', 'Walmart - house wares' that would make life much simpler. --Don
