Firefox 21 on Windows 7 64bit --- after hours of use or computer hibernating stops saving bookmarks and downloads. Example if I bookmark MSN the box will appear, I choose the folder and hit Done, if I then close the browser, re-open it, and go to the folder in the bookmarks list the site will not be there. With downloads/picture saving it's the same idea with one difference, it'll bring up the dialog box allow me to select a folder but it will not show in Firefox's download manager. I've gone thru the steps of troubleshooting/ resetting Firefox but this keeps reoccurring. Any ideas?

Thanks to you both I'm not sure the add on will fix my particular problem but it looks handy anyway. I checked out my profile folder and found a corrupt copy of the place file. So followed the instructions to deal with it, so far so good. I'll post again if anything changes...
