Firefox force quit. Pinwheel spins even when typing
I have the problem when I have to force quit. I also have the pinwheel for no apparent reason and have to wait until it stops to do anything. It is frustrating as it does not happen in Safari. I like to use Firefox but it is getting very annoying. I have the pinwheel pop up when I am even typing. I tried your suggestions about starting it up in safe mode and that doesn't seem to work.

I had tried that before and I still have the same problems. Do you have any solutions that might work?
ok, since i'm not using a mac myself, i'm not familiar with further troubleshooting steps unfortunately that would apply on this OS in order to diagnose or address the issue you've described. maybe another contributor with more experience can provide more help...
Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

I tried doing your suggestion. It is still happening. When I use Safari I have no problems. Safari works very fast. It is just that I feel safer using Firefox.
