Just upgraded to Firefox 8 on my work computer but I noticed when I right click on a webpage the options to copy and paste are not shown. Were these functions removed or are they somehow disabled?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I did the above but was not able to restore full options. However, I did something seemingly unrelated and it has fixed my error. I noticed that I did not have a search engine listed on my search bar; when I selected one my copy and paste options returned.
