What's with the "RED FLASHES" when I scroll ?

Using Aurora, when I'm on any web page (except Firefox !) and use the scroll wheel on my mouse, I get a RED FLASH every time I start to scroll. This is potentially dangerous as I have a seizure disorder that can be triggered by light flashes (when coupled with other stimuli). The Firefox page scrolls without the flashes - what's up ? OS XP with latest update.

Try to disable hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

Thanks cor-el. Before I tried your suggestion I checked 3 - 4 pages, and the red flashes are gone !?! I'll keep your note in case they return. Leo-ME
