I have a conflict w/ Firefox5 (MAC OS X 10.6.7) and Vectorworks 2008, when VW is open and I surf the web I lose functionality of the pan tool which is a program standard set for the space bar?

Starting when I updated to Firefox 4, there seems to be a conflict between Firefox and Vectorworks 2008, but more specifically the problem only occurs when I log onto Timefox to fill out my time sheet (https://fox3.functionfox.com/timefox/) After I fill out my time sheet, if I try to use the pan tool in Vectorworks, which is linked by VW default to space bar, it no longer works i.e. the tool flashes on but cancels out immediately. The only way to fix it is the shut down both Firefox and VW and then re-open them. Also, it doesn't happen if I use google Chrome or another browser.
