Why can't you just type a URL or Web address into the address bar and hit the enter key and go to it? Why do you have to use the mouse and click on the curved green arrow at the end of it? It is frustrating slow and stupid!!! Fred7021@gmail.com

It should work just by pressing enter. This type of problem is normally caused by a malfunctioning add-on. For details of how to troubleshoot this to find out what one is causing the problem see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes
The AVG safe search add-on is one that has caused this issue for some people.
