First noticed with the latest 3.6. Upgrade to FF4 didn't help either.

In summary: I can type anything in the search bar but neither Enter or mouse-click on search icon initiate any kind of search. For all intents and purposes - the bar is disabled. Anyone have *any* idea what might be the problem?

Forget it. It was a faulty add-on; actually, the newest update of one of them. I should've known better and check for this before I asked question; sorry :(
