i am new to firefox, it has been suggested that i add an anti phishing add on, however even reading the reviews left me in the dark. i don't care to go thru a process just to get on the net.

Anti-phishing and Web-forgery protection is included with Firefox, and it is turned on by default. IMO, the Google SafeBrowsing, which is what Firefox has, it the best program out there. (Google developed it with help from Mozilla, and all the initial testing was done in Firefox 2.0 versions. Google didn't have Chrome yet, that web browser was started after the first version of the Google SafeBrowing was up and running.)
