where are security settings stored?
I swapped modems and couldn't get a secure connection -- “Your connection is not secure,” “Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead,” Ultimately I scrubbed Firefox and did a fresh install. Everything was fine until I began putting Old Firefox data (prefs, extensions, etc.) into the new profile. But IDK which file had the bad setting in it so the problem resurfaced.
Again, scrub, rinse and repeat. All is well now but I'm apprehensive. By the way, I didn't get the SSL error messages in r3dfox. But I can't watch videos with r3dfox. So I'd really like to get this straightened out.

Hi,
When migrating data from an old profile, you should copy files one by one to be able to easily identify which one causes the issue. To learn more about important files and what they store, please see this article.
