I am unable to collapse all folders. My resurch on the internet, and your help has failed to find a working salution. I am running build 128.1.1esr 64bit working with my Gmail account. Most solutions found advise to "right click on the high level folder to close and select "Collapse All" from the context menue. This selection is not visable.

1. Please advise how to do this. 2. Is there a switch to collaps all when exiting the application?

Thanks.

There is not, and never has been, a "collapse folders" menu item.

There are two ways to collapse/expand 1. double click on a folder 2. click on the > or \/ (upside down caret) widget to the left of the folder name.

Wayne,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have a fairly extensive tree structure. quite often I will open a lot of sub folders when moving mail etc. I was looking for a means to close all sub folders at once. Closing the parent will still leave the sub folders open the next time the parent is open.

Paul.

The best you can do I think is click on the lowest open subfolder, and hold the back-arrow key.
