I just changed my gmail account andam trying to set up thunderbird to be my email client. I keep getting stuck at the Gmail signin window that pops up after the confirguration window. I enter my email account in the gmail window and it pumps me back asking for my email acount again.

new email is [email]@gmail.com

Are cookies accepted in Settings/Privacy & Security? If they aren't, that's usually why the email address isn't automatically entered in the OAuth window, and the process goes into an endless loop.
