Firefox is redirecting customers to another link
On my video gallery page, some of my videos are stand alone and others are a series of two or more videos. When you click on the series, it takes you to the page where all the ones in the series are housed, but then when you click on one of the videos in that series, I receive a prompt from FIREFOX: Receiving prompt on my created web site "FIREFOX CAN'T OPEN THIS PAGE" Open site in new window...
This totally messes up my ease of use for customers and is keeping them from following through. I would like this feature disabled if possible. Any work around for this?
Thank you for any help and consideration! -Carol Ragsdale ([email]@msn.com) www.westmarionbaptistchurch.com

Hi Dropa - yes I wasn't sure if it is Firefox or Word Press site or the Robo Gallery that I'm using. here is the mail url for the site: http://www.westmarionbaptistchurch.com/
The exact page we are working on is this: http://westmarionbaptistchurch.com/index.php/new-sermon-video-gallery-page-1-were-transferring-files/
Single videos are no problem but the videos in question are the ones that are in the Series.. such as TRANSFORMED (5th one from top ... red grey and blue man...). Thanks for any help. -Carol
mail = main
Also as you will see, the page comes up, but when you click on the individual video link, that is when Firefox redirects...
It sounds that you try to embed a YouTube video on your website. You need to use the YouTube embed code and not a regular YouTube link to be able to embed a YouTube video on your webpages, otherwise Firefox gives a X-FRAME-OPTIONS error.
You should find this code if you right-click the player on the YouTube webpage (Copy embed code), this gives you an iframe code that you can use on your page. Normal code: scr="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxxxxx" Embed code: src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/xxxxxxxxxx"
Ok.. Thanks! I will be trying this now...
Still having issues. Not able to find the embed code for my youtube playlist page so I can use it in my web site. The only informational video I can find is 6 years old and some of the information is not applicable... such as: "Go to the playlist in youtube and click on it... then click on SHARE...then go to embed, ect." The problem is, once you click on the playlist (anywhere on it) it goes directly to a video and starts playing one out of the series. No choice to choose Share at all much less to find the embed code for the playlist.
I have at least been able to use my web page shortlink where I have originally put the video series on a page prior to finding the robo gallery app i.e., (https://wp.me/PakLR5-x9s) and paste it into robo gallery's pdf link informational BOX. That actually connects to the page within my site, which is great because the videos do connect (all of them) to the youtube page. BUT the ideal is not to have the link in the PDF box, because the customer first clicks on the Video link BOX..which of course nothing is there. I don't think they will investigate further to try the PDF link BOX where it is connecting. So ideally, if I could find a way to connect the Video BOX link to either the youtube playlist or the page I have already in wordpress - that would be the goal.
Also, I noticed, when checking on the other playlists in my youtube channel, I am finding the embed availability has already been enabled. But should this be disabled? ........ the reason I ask is that maybe it is somehow conflicting with my web page (wordpress and robo gallery)... seems far reaching to suggest, but maybe someone can shed more light on this. Thanks so much in advance to anyone!!!! -Carol
You need to start a video and right-click in the player to be able to get the embed code.
If you have a link with the ID like I posted above with possibly other GET parameters appended then you can try this link and append the GET parameters that specify the playlist
Also... of course each individual video has a share function and does offer the embed code for the individual video. But i cannot locate an embed code for the playlist. I just can't seem to see what I am missing here
I did go into the source page and find this... is this anything? source:https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCiSwiVeMKY9N-SvvC8Kgc-I4ECkMW_Q_
should i write: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list/embed/PLCiSwiVeMKY9N-SvvC8Kgc-I4ECkMW_Q_
OK.. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCiSwiVeMKY9N-SvvC8Kgc-I4ECkMW_Q_ This takes it to the Youtube playist... would this be correct. I have added the page for viewing below
The VIDEO dialogue BOX still says 'no video' but the PDF dialogue BOX redirects to the playlist in the picture below
This may be the best I can do for now. Any thoughts any one? Thank you Carol
co-rel - I was able to find the embed code for the individual video, but am going for the playlist of videos - still unable to find an embed code for the entire playlist. ... I seem to be able to connect to the playlist via the set of videos on my webpage or on the youtube page itself. Both of these connection links that I've tried will only work in the PDF dialogue BOX within the robo gallery app. Maybe this is all I will be able to do? If robo gallery would get back to me, maybe they are the ones to see.. In the past, in the beginning they responded quickly to normal solutions but this one may not be easily answered.
I appreciate you help .. not sure what is meant by the GET parameters. so far I have found the source within the youtube playlist, but is there more i can do?
I don't think that you can embed a playlist page as that is an HTML page and and that is likely prohibited by a CSP rule. You can only embed a video player with a list parameter.
Ok this is narrowing it down... thank you so much. I might try making a separate video series page(s) and just leave the singles in one gallery. Thanks again!!!! Appreciate it so very much -Carol
You can embed a playlist as a series (attached composite screenshot), but I don't immediately see a way to embed it as a list.
