You need to use "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" and not "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear the cookies as the former honors exceptions but the latter doesn't honor exceptions.
You can use these steps to make a website recognize and remember you.
- create a cookie allow exception with the proper protocol (https:// or http://) to make a website remember you
You can check that you aren't clearing important cookies.
- using "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" keeps cookies with an allow exception
- using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear cookies clears all cookies including cookies with an allow exception you may want to keep
- clearing "Site Preferences" clears exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and software installation and exceptions for passwords and other website specific data
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Exceptions"
- Settings -> Privacy & Security
Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history":
[X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" -> Settings
Firefox Can’t Open This Page To protect your security, myaccount.assurancewireless.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.
That's a new one! If you right-click a blank area of that page, can you expand This Frame and then Open Frame in New Tab to see what is supposed to be loading there?
every time i clear cookies it logs me out of facebook and i need a code to get back in how do i stop it from having to log in every time with code if i keep doing this i will be locked out of my account how do i clear cookie with out effecting Facebok I di the clear cookies to see if assurance would work
To clear only cookies for that site, click the lock icon in the address bar, and at the bottom of the little panel that drops down, click "Clear cookies and site data..." Firefox should show a box which indicates what site's cookies will be cleared for confirmation. So only the current site should be affected.
no see i can not even get to the page to opemn it in firefox at all
i did what you said but I can not get past the page where i put in the phone number in firefox it used to open it had no problem but now doe s not
Hi Mary, unfortunately those of us without an account on the site are not able to dig into error messages or otherwise debug this problem.
i understand and thank you how do i disable cookies and skip facebook every time i clear cookies it signs me oit of facebook requiring me to get a code on my cell phone and i have had som amy codes for deleting cooks that iam afraid Facebook will block me

Clearing all your cookies was just a one-time test to see whether it made a difference. You don't need to keep doing that.
