Hi, the "Recent" lists are always in "most recently added" order (newest first). You can have better control of the order of bookmarks if you access them using another list, for example,

• The Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b) -- you can add a Sidebars button using the Customize panel (Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
• The optional Bookmarks Menu toolbar button () -- you can add that using the Customize panel

That is not possible. Such a recent list shows the result of a database query ordered by date created, hence 'recent' in its label, so the last bookmark created is always at the top.

You can drag the Bookmarks Menu (star on a tray) button that shows the bookmarks in a drop-down list from the Customize palette to the Navigation Toolbar.
