Location of the cache/cache2 folder; Windows: *C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\ Mac: ~/Library/Caches/Firefox/Profiles/ Linux: ~/.cache/mozilla/firefox/
Close Firefox. Open your file browser to the above, and remove the folder.
Can you attach a screenshot?

deleting the folder does nothing the error message comes about a minute after restarting firefox
It looks that you run out of disk space on the (system) drive where the Firefox profile folder is located and you need to free space on that drive.
How much space is there available on the drive ?
Do you only have one drive (partition) ?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
