Hello all I have a site that I log into to manage different things and everytime I go the help section it asks me to relogin. I contacted the support for this site and they say it is a problem of cookies or cache. However, even after I have wiped the cookies and delete the navigation history, I cannot log in.

Is there a magic way to clean cache and cookies, thank you

Kimbert

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

If cookies expire for no obvious reason then this might be caused by a new feature that causes cookies from unvisited websites to get cleared, especially if you cleared the history when you closed Firefox. You can disable this feature via the about:config page.

Hi Kimbert, regarding your question about remote windows: this is related to Firefox's multi-process feature for isolating different content from browser code and other sites to reduce vulnerability to security exploits.

Thank you for this information and replies.

I do not really understand it but did look into my config file

I noticed that it was set to false privacy.purge_trackers.enabled = false

Now I do not have any cookies when I look into my preferences. There is just web cached content and 0 cookies!

but I have another problem

I have this error in my config privacy.purge_trackers.enabled = false privacy.purge_trackers.logging.level Error

Now what does this mean, thank you for your help and patience, I am a real rooky!
