Every time I open it, the "policy is about to change" banner appears. I get that. I have clicked on "I get that". Stop showing it to me. How do I get rid of it please?

Hi Poolstok, what policy is it referring to? Is this a message from Google r another website?

Often if you click "I get it" or "Okay" the site will set a cookie so that it knows not to show it again. If the banner comes back each time you restart Firefox, possibly that cookie is being cleared when Firefox closes.

In Firefox 56+ the "Warn me when website try to redirect or reload the page" setting can no longer be found in Options/Preferences.

You can modify this pref on the about:config page to enable or disable this feature.

  • accessibility.blockautorefresh = false

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
