Firefox very slow, off and on last few days. Worked OK Yesterday, won't work today. Have done ALL of the recommended things to speed up Firefox. Wasted 4 hours on this problem already. Have a friend with the same problem. Can this be fixed, or do I need to switch to another browser? MS Edge and Chrome work fine. Problem is just with Firefox.
One thing, I can't seem to find the firewall on my computer to see if Firefox version is being blocked somehow. I follow the instructions and Enum doesn't work.
Can you help?

If you have protection programs, they could provide the firewall. Otherwise, it's part of Windows 10.
In the search window of the taskbar, type 'firewall.'

Hi,
I can't seem to control the firewall. When I go to Windows Security, this page doesn't seem to come up after 5 minutes. I am using Malwarebytes and Window Defender as far as I know. I guess I will need to look into this. I asked the "Troubleshooter" to check internet connections and it came back with "can't solve this problem".
Either the links you show aren't relevant, or I have tried ALL, and I mean ALL, of these approaches, and the result on my computer is still the same.
I have run Malwarebytes search for virus and it reports nothing. Maybe I need to try this again, or search for problems with Security online.
By the way, I use Firefox on three more computers, and they seem to work fine.
Any further thoughts?
