When a site, such as a bank, wants to open pdf file, the site opens a new tab to do so. The new tab hangs and must be closed. On some sites, the new tab does not even get to the "hang" state. The selection of the pdf has no action.

I have to use IE to open these and I have no desire to use IE for anything.
