Date function returns the date with a day lesser in firefox

How are you using the command to see the output?

Consider time zones. The "Z" in your output indicates GMT time.
As an example of how to get local time, submit this in Firefox's Web Console:
var d=new Date("10/29/2018");
console.log('toString() => ' + d.toString());
console.log('toISOString() => ' + d.toISOString());
console.log('toLocaleString() => '+d.toLocaleString());
console.log('toGMTString() => ' + d.toGMTString());
