I use Fire FTP on Windows XP, and you just updated and killed it again and I can't find it to download again.

I use an old windows xp box. My Firefox browser is supposed to be unsupported due to its age but yesterday I got a message that the next time i restart it, some addons will be removed ie. Fire FTP. I don't care that you don't support it anymore but I do care that you remove an important tool that I use frequently. The last time it was removed I was able to download it again but I can't find it now. I have turned off the auto update so hopefully you don't mess anything else up. Is it possible to get it back?

Sorry to hear that. Please Note : if your not running 52.9.0esr please switch to it as it is the last compatible browser that will be available for XP/Vista. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/#legacy Support ends at month end. Please upgrade your OS or switch to Linux to help protect others from your out dated and insecure OS on the Internet.

Turn off updates for add-ons! There is no point in allowing updates for add-ons with that old Firefox 52 version as there won't be any more updates for Legacy extensions; just the potential for loss of add-ons as those old add-ons get removed from the add-ons website.

Just so you know as you are using the legacy Firefox 52 ESR which will be made End Of Life or EOL on Sept 5 with no more updates after.

The legacy Extensions that was used by Firefox 56.0 and older will be disabled in October on addons.mozilla.org.

In order to use newer versions of Firefox you need Windows 7, 8 (8.1), 10 or switch to or dual boot with a light Linux distro. There are still some distros that support the ancient 32-bit CPU's like Lunbuntu and Xubuntu among some other light options.
