My Firefox is v102, 64-bit, on W10 Enterprise. ESR channel. It keeps telling me I need to update.

Under HELP, it fails to download whatever it is trying to update. Even though I got v102, I tried the online installer (mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new). Thinking about it now, I did not try an offline installer.

I been searching online and tried this policies.json file (github.com/mozilla/policy-templates/blob/master/README.md#backgroundappupdate) with these entries:

{

 "policies": {
   "AppAutoUpdate": false
 }

} {

 "policies": {
   "BackgroundAppUpdate": false
 }

}

But still not help.

Is there anything else I can try? There seems to be no simple option to click to not check for updates temporarily.

Thank you.

Recently bought a new Mac Studio running mac os 12.4. Migrated FireFox from old mac. Firefox version 102.0 will not open anything for about a minute. Message says transferring from a web page but nothing happens. Sometime it says “cannot find server.” Firefox on my other older mac on same network works fine as does Safari on new Mac Studio. Once delay period over all work well.

See dialog box screen print below. The .cpp file is not a GIT file. A .cpp file is a C++ program source file from Microsoft Visual Studio, and I should be able to open the file with Visual Studio 2019 (current version of Visual Studio on my PC). But misclassifying the .ccp file as GIT does not give me the option of opening the file with Visual Studio 2019. How do I change the classification of .cpp files from GIT to C++ (I'm on the newest version of Firefox...all prior versions worked correctly) ?

After loading its most recent update, I am unable to open Firefox. I get two error messages. The procedure entry point SECMOD_LockedModuleHasRemovableSlots could not be located in the dynamic linked library C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll and a second error message couldn't load XPCOM. What can I do to solve this?
