You're on the beta release channel, switch to stable here: https://firefox.com - for less frequent updates (every 6 weeks instead of every week)

The Firefox 60.0 you have is currently on the Beta development channel as Fx 60.0 is not scheduled for Release until May 9. The current build is 60.0b14

A version on the Beta channel can have say nine to fourteen builds. If you download a Firefox file with say b14 on end of version then that means it was the fourteenth Beta build of that version.

Note that you need to install the full Firefox version if you want to switch the update channel.

The beta update channel updates twice a week. Nightly updates twice a day or possibly more if a respin is required.

FED UP with Firefox's UNANNOUNCED UPDATES - FAR TOO FREQUENT.

Received 62.0.,3 today with NO warning, NO opportunity to review changes before accepting it.

Firefox updates automatically to keep you and all other users safe, secure and on the latest version. 62.0.3 was a security update, so it's important to push those out as soon as possible.

You can read the changes in 62.0.3 at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/62.0.3/releasenotes/
