I can read London Review books articles in IE but not in Firefox
I can view articles in the London Review of Books just fine in IE and on my cell phone. But only the first few paragraphs of their articles can be viewed in FF. When I asked LRB about this and told them the problem they asked me which browser I used. When I told them FF and that I could read the articles just fine in IE they stopped responding to my inquiries. Is this a trick publishers use to force people to use IE and dump FF? This is displayed in two screen shots. As you can see this is done at the publisher's end and it is consistent for all articles available to the public.

Some articles are available only to subscribers but those are not what I am talking about. These articles are available to all. They can not be fully viewed in FF but the can be viewed in IE.
As a caveat I do have certain pop up and ad blockers in FF but not installed in IE (which I really never use). But anytime an ad blocker and pop up type program interferes with a web page I usually get a message to stop the blocker so I have no reason to think that is the problem.
I find all this suspect because LRB editorial dept did write back and ask what browser I used I told them. With that tip-off I then tried in IE and noticed it worked fine . So it became clear this was a FF issue. When I repeatedly wrote back and asked LRB why this was only FF they went silent and refused any response. Not kosher. That is why I suspect LRB is blocking public article access only to FF users. No problem on my smart phone. It appears the publisher may be selectively restricting just FF users and forcing them to use IE.
P.S. I just now tested the above links by clicking them. Same problem. Truncated. Copy and paste into IE? Bingo. No problem. Full access.
P.P.S. Thanks for the suggestion. I did start FF in Safe mode and the problem disappeared. Full access. But this does not solve the problem. I need to find causation. I am a writer and a researcher. I can not know it's a FF problem every time I find a web site with limited access. Since the page does not suggest a browser problem I would never have known to start FF safe mode and I certainly can't do that every time I run into a road block. I'll just move back to IE. I have far too much work to do and need a browser that solves problems rather than create them.
Bottom line: It's probably not the publisher. What is the cause. I need my FF add ons.

I have ad-block plus, ad-block for Facebook, ad block lite, ad blocker ultimate, and Ad-Aware ad block, and Mozilla firewall.
I do not know who to disable them completely of for any particular web site. Unless it is documented any of these cause this very specific problem I'll just start FF in safe mode when I run into this problem or use IE because this is waaaaay too complicated of a sleuth game. I already have a career and just want to read a magazine article.
Can we leave this issue open until someone can nail this down with clear specificity as to the nature of the problem? Obviously speculation is too time consuming and it would be best to nail the issue down solidly by actually duplicating the specific problem for this issue.
Either that or tell me how to disable these program in seriatim these for a particular web site. The universal problem with most of this stuff is that it's FAR beyond the reach of even experienced end-users.
