Hi tomsff !
I went to www.searchcard.com and got a message from Kaspersky:
Start browser in Safe Mode
...... this happens to be one of FredMcD's suggestions ......
'Sure hope that does the trick (otherwise I'll have to think twice about renewing Kaspersky's license .... ) !
Good luck !
No, Safe mode did the same thing, after signing on sears.com the webpage just kept spinning like it was loading but it would not load. I never had this trouble before, i always used firefox to go to sears.com and it use to work every time. does it have anything to do with the new version of firefox 48.0?

'Don't know if this has anything to do with the latest FF-version, but if I were you I'd try FredMvD's other suggestions; one of them is bound to do the trick (I hope !)
Keep trying !
Tried all Fred mentioned too, still does not work. can I go back and try the last version of ff to see if it will work again? if so how and how do i stop it from updating until i find out if the older version works? Thanks
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
It did the same thing in safe mode, i sign into it but the page after wont load still. Is it possible to use the last version of ff? it worked on that version. but I would have to somehow stop it from auto update to this version in order to check it out, what do you guys thinks, can i do this? Thanks
Hi, check your antivirus settings as shown in How to troubleshoot security error codes on secure websites, or even disable it completely as a test - but ONLY if you know the site to be safe.
Thanks but No that did not work either and btw i dont get an error message. any other suggestions would be appreciated. but i would still like to try the last version of ff ?
Use only if the issue can't be fixed.
Install an older version of Firefox {web link}
Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar.
Under Advanced, Select Update. Check the settings.
Ok, I installed the last version and it still did not work. i wonder if sears stopped using firefox, but why would they let you sign in, then not load the page, it dont make sense. So i guess i will have to use IE 11 just to bring up and sign onto sears. but i dont like ie. will use firefox for my surfing anyway. since there does not seem to be anything else i can try, I want to Thank you all for your help. later.
Let's try this; Remove History For One Site Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.
Thanks Fred, but did not work either.
