I have two macbooks that both have the latest versions of firefox installed. I am signed onto my account on both, press "sync" and the little icon starts moving, but nothing changes. I've made a ton of changes to bookmarks on one laptop but no changes have synced to my other account. I've looked at all support articles and found nothing helpful.

Syncing tabs in Firefox is easy with an add-on. Xmarks is one of the most popular third-party bookmark and tab syncing tools for Firefox. Unfortunately, as already mentioned tab sync requires the premium account but the service works seamlessly and works between different browsers types.

Luckily, Firefox already has built-in tab synchronisation which can be configured as follows:

Setup Firefox Sync on Your Mac

1.Open Firefox and in the menu bar click Tools followed by Set Up Sync to open the Firefox Sync Setup window 2.Hit Create a New Account and proceed to enter the account details such as your email address and a password 3.To choose which items to sync, select Sync Options and choose from the list displayed. The available options include bookmarks, preferences, passwords, history and tabs 4.Click the Continue button and you’ll see the setup complete message

Yes, I have this set up and it used to work but all of the sudden stopped working. My "sync" button works, and rotates around while turning blue, but nothing changes. Any other suggestions to try? I've also trying logging in/out of sync and restarting firefox but no luck.
