have firefox 44 on my mac and yahoo toolbar won't stop verifying and install it-it freezes on verifying
big problem STILL with yahoo toolbar, ironically, solved it on my windows based computer, but i see now with ff44 it is not woring and no matter how many times i go to mozilla firefox addons and try to install, it pops up with verifying and then never can I get to hit the install button next to it as it just keeps on verifying ...on and on, and i am very frustrated, I need to make my yahoo toolbar work as i have many quick icons to do things, and i use it in my windows based but also need it in my macbook too. please tell me something new, already tried the about config turn from true to false ( as listed in other mozilla forums for fixing/in past, the yahoo toolbar) I will hope to hear from someone soon.

Maybe I am missing something, but those appear to be search engines, I did not see Yahoo toolbar in that grouping, was I supposed to see it there?
That is for sure the link to yahoo toolbar and I have tried it repeatedly, but it does hang/freeze and the verify install. No error message. Just hangs...
I did a search in Yahoo; https://us.search.yahoo.com/search?fr=yhs-invalid&p=yahoo+toolbar

This is the same link, but it does nothing. Am I missing something?
Have you tried installing the Yahoo toolbar directly from Yahoo? https://toolbar.yahoo.com/?.intl=us
IOW, directly from the horses mouth, so to speak.

It says add on could not be installed because of connection failure error
( apparently this is a common message for this as I can see forums on this )
I found my mozbackup file and just reloaded from that.
