I am not able to create bookmarks folders even when I follow the directions in the Mozilla Support article.

I go to my bookmarks and show all bookmarks. I hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the bookmarks menu icon. I do not get a "New Folder" tab.

To open the Bookmarks Manager, press the Alt or F10 key bring up the tool bar, and select Bookmarks. Hot key is <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> B.

On the right is the directory "tree." Select where you want the new folder. Right click that branch, and select New Folder.
