I have a "profile missing" etc message blocking my usage, but the fix on your fixes page has not worked, so now what?
When I type or copy/paste the suggested /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -P I get an immediate reply: No such file or directory. So, now what should I do? I want my Firefox back!!!

Is Firefox still installed?
- /Applications/Firefox.app/
You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (43.0.3) in all languages and all operating systems here:
Make sure that Firefox gets installed properly.
Open the Firefox disk image file and drag the Firefox program into the Applications folder on your hard drive. You shouldn't double-click the Firefox application to run it from the disk image, but instead drag it out of the DMG folder.
Yes, Firefox was/is installed. I did drag the Ffx icon to the Applications folder. I don't know what a DMG folder is.
On Mac the Firefox application comes as a disk image that contains the Firefox application files. You can check the /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/ folder in the Finder to see if the firefox file (shell script) is present.
- /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox -profilemanager
