- Type this in text box: firefox.exe -silent -setDefaultBrowser and press Enter
If that doesn't work, you can try this:
- Press the "Start Menu"
- Open "Default Programs"
- Click "Associate a file type or protocol with a program".
Assign the following protocols and file types to Firefox:

Hello,
Is Firefox set as your default browser? If not, you should make it your default browser. Here's how.
It has been my default browser for years; still is, but something is preventing links from opening it -- there arent any obvious settings in options/tools. Is there some kind of application association that got lost that could cause that?

What actually fixed it was rebooting the computer, Apparently something got toasted and needed to be cleaned up with the restart
