what is the e-mail form looking for in the heading line prefixed Cc?
A lot of forums when supplying a pro-forma e-mail, have 3 headings to fill in. The middle of the three is prefixed " Cc" I don't know what that is looking for , and all attempts to find out end in dead ends unrelated to the query. What does "Cc" look for in its content

Hi, if you want the email to go to one address, just fill in the TO field.
If you want a copy of the email to go to someone else as well, also fill in their address in the CC (Carbon Copy) field - note that the original recipient (in the TO field) will be notified that a copy has been sent to someone else.
If you want to send a copy to someone else without the original recipient knowing about it, fill in their address in the BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) field.
Hope that answers your question.

There is the To, Subject, and CC. The To field is for all the users that you want to receive that mail. If, however, you want to send that same message, but don't want others to know it, you put their e-mail in the CC.
yes, but why can I not leave the field blank if I do not want any other to receive the e-mail?
