You can try to clear the Java cache or check if any data is stored from that domain.

If you visit a website regularly then a possible workaround is to add the URL to the Java Exceptions Site List, see:

Thanks cor-el but i've already added exceptions for the site in Java control panel but still can't get it to work. Cleared temp files/cache etc, no change.

Followed all the 'fixes' from those pages that should work but still get the same message no matter what browser i use.

Megashares site has it seems an unsigned certificate but i've used it for years and never had problems with security from it, it's just this last update that blocks me from using it to upload. Java configuration tab has also changed, only high and medium control there now. Completely lost with this now, so i'm paying for an account that i can't use because Java is stopping me from using a site that i trust.

The only help from Java gives a link for contacting paid support which i think wrong, there must be a way to fix this without having to do that.

Do you have multiple java versions installed on your machine ?

I am in a cooperate environment and if there are multiple versions installed than it can cause conflict with certain sites. I have seen this on many machines . Simply uninstalling all and re-installing the latest version you want/needs does the trick.

Then verify/add site exception

The cmd to uninstall all java versions is:

wmic product where "name like 'Java%'" call uninstall

I cannot guarantee this will resolve the problem for you but it has for me many many times.

Note: Make sure your browsers are closed and ANY java processes are as well.

Thanks Carm but have already done that more than once, nothing works.

All i can do now is try to find an earlier version of Java that will allow me to add and use exceptions.
