I have windows7, security essential and all other is ok in my laptop. I keep everything up to date. Now the only problem is when I try to check it out is plug ins up to date, all other plug ins are but Adobe flash is not. It indicates vulnerable in red colour. When I proceed update now, installation goes ok but if after I recheck if all plug ins are up to date, there is AGAIN that red sign: "vulnerable". I'm near to change my browser to an other one if this annoying problem seems not to be fixed.

Disregard my last post. I see you are using Firefox 30.0 (Beta) which contains a Flash plugin detection bug.

Unfortunately, the plugin checker can only tell you what it knows. For example, if it thinks that the latest version of program ZMPI is v23.332, then any other version, even a newer version, is flagged.

Hi, thank you for reply. Sorry but the answer was just what to expect, can't understand a word of it. Nice but please don't take the questions like all of us are computer engineers or experienced to use computers. So "plugin checker thinks ZMPI is v23.332..then all are flagged"..First, what is plugin checker? Second, What is ZMPI? Third, what is v23.332? This is example what I'm talking about. How a hell I could understand what means C if I don't know what means A and B? This is a common for younger people nowadays. Cause they have been married with computers from born and they think all are same. We all are not! Well, in my Mozilla page that Adobe is still RED!!! Is there any actions to do as simple as possible?

The latest version of the Flash Player is 13.0.0.214 so you should make sure you have the latest version installed. You can visit http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ to see what version you have.

Thanks, Alice. If I understood right the bug isn't dangerous in any way. If so, I can live with it. I checked my Adobe, the version is latest, just what you indicated. Thanks again. PX

You're welcome.

Yes, the bug isn't dangerous, it's just confusing to Firefox Beta/Aurora/Nightly users when they visit the PluginCheck page when you have the latest version.
