has something happened with drag n drop in ff11?
Ok, since ive updated to ff11, drag n drop with images no longer seems to work. before when i went onto google images to find images i was able to just drag an image into the page and of it goes, but now whenever i try it the cursor just become and black circle with a line through it signifying that that cant be done. Has something happened to the drag n drop feature from before the ff11 release, i was able to do it fine then???

Sorry, where are you trying to drag from and drop to?
If you use Skype Click-to-Call, that has been reported to cause problems with copy and paste into MS Office applications. If your drop target is MS Word or Excel, then perhaps it's a related issue.
No, i dont use skype click-to-call, never heard of it.
Before i upgraded, i was able to go onto images.google.com then go into the My Pictures folder click and drag an image from that folder onto firefox to make google images become the top window then continue to drag to the search box to make the window show saying "drop image here" the drop it and it searches for that image. No MS Office apps involved.
- Update* while writing this message and going through the steps my self to give as much detail as possible, ff now allowed me to drop an image into google images to search for it, so it appears the prob has fixed itself? I do not know why it now works as opposed to the other day, as far as i am aware, nothing has changed. I only updated to ff11 the other day after i found out that avg link scanner was now compatible with ff11 and was going to downgrade ff to the previous version so that drag n drop would work again so it appears i may now not have to. I will keep this open for the next few days in case drag n drop stops working again which will save me having to re-create this post.
Wow, I wasn't aware of this feature of Google Image search. That is a really cool idea. It doesn't actually seem to work very well, but I'm glad to hear you can use it again.
I noticed they also do have a traditional file upload form if you click the camera icon in the search box. If you have this problem intermittently, could you check to see whether that is affected as well?
Seeing as i dont think i can keep this post open for ever for this kind of problem, I shall wait to see if this problem happens again so i can see whether or not a can upload it the other way within the next few days as stated in my previous reply.
