I updated firefox. then my computer flashed a warning saying something was trying to access the web, and should I allow. I mistakenly clicked "don't allow" and now can't get into firefox.

Keazen oplossing

1. In McAfee Personal Firewall, Select Personal Firewall Plus.

2. Click View the Internet Application List.

3. Right-click the name of the program you wish to allow and select Allow Full Access.

If you don’t see the name of the program listed, click Allow New Application and enter the full path of where the application is loaded. Example: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe

I don't have McAfee, so I don't know if this works or not, I just copied and pasted. If this doesn't work, maybe someone with McAfee can help you.

It's sorta hard to tell how to fix this without more details, but my guess is it's from a security program. Do you have Zone Alarm installed? Norton? McAfee?

Matt, thanks so very much, now I can get into my personal website email, which I've been locked out of. Kudos to you! warmly, Maureen
