I have two problems:

1. I just installed Firefox 3.6.1.15 on my computer at work. When I try to import my Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.1870CO favorites, Firefox crashes. I was able to import all of the other Internet Explorer settings.

2. I've created four crash reports, but cannot access them by going to about:crashes in Firefox. The links to the crash reports are there, but Firefox times out trying to access them.

Please advise.

Keazen oplossing

There must be something wrong with the crash report servers this morning, I couldn't pull up a report when I tried about an hour ago. It ran the 5 minutes of re-trying and gave me Oh noes!

Try getting your Favorites into Firefox this way.
In IE: - File > Import/Export - Export to HTML file
then in Firefox:
Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... = From HTML file

Your suggestd workaround did the trick. Thanks. I would like to know why Firefox crashed though.

You're welcome. I suspect the "import" function has a problem with IE7, 8, & 9 versions or the Favorites folder set is to large or some multiple folder setup's users may be using is causing a problem in Firefox. Hard to track down eaxctly why it happens, because most users only do the "import" once.
