Some menus in the wrong language

I have the US English language pack and dictionary installed and they are updated. However, when I access some menus or look at some items (e.g. when I go to help and look at 'About Firefox'), they are in the wrong language (in this case, Thai). I have already downloaded the US English version and installed it, but that has not solved the problem. I also tried fiddling around with the locale, but that hasn't seem to have done anything, although I'm not very technical so I might just be fiddling with the wrong things. Could anyone lend a hand? Thank you very much.

Hello,

Would you try to start Firefox with the -purgecaches command
line switch - see the last comment in this bug report :

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1564998

Also see : https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Command_Line_Options

Any difference ?

(just to make sure : you could also check to see if your language pack
is up to date)

I checked my language pack and it is up to date and enabled. I will try this solution and report back. Thank you pointing me to this bug report. :D

Note that it is easier to install the en-US Firefox version and install additional dictionaries if necessary (Firefox en-US comes with the en-US dictionary).

You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (74.0) in all languages and all operating systems here:
